2002: The Beginning

July 29, 2002 – Lakshitha was born

  • Founded by PSN Murthy, inspired by his firsthand exposure to poverty during his postings as a Banker across various locations.
  • Initial vision: Support the education of underprivileged children, with a special focus on the girl child.
  • Began by supporting 5 girl children through CRY Foundation.

2002–2005: Early outreach and relief

  • Continued supporting the education of underprivileged children.
  • Organized educational picnics and fun activities for school children and NGO inmates – trips to biscuit factories, zoos, magic shows, cultural events, and more.
  • Extended help during natural calamities through relief camps.

2006–2019: Growing commitment

  • Continued and expanded educational support.
  • Focus broadened to include healthcare, distribution of essentials (food, blankets, sanitary pads, medicines, stationery), and other community welfare initiatives.

2019–2020: Strengthening the Foundation

  • Introduced financial literacy programs for students in government/municipal schools and small NGOs.
  • Regular sessions on Financial Literacy, Financial Inclusion, Entrepreneurship, and Women Empowerment conducted at reputed institutions, colleges, universities, and NGO platforms.

2020–2021: Rising amid Crisis

COVID-19 Response:

  • Relief materials worth ₹2.50+ lakhs distributed.
  • Honored with a “Certificate of Appreciation” by the Government of Telangana under the T-SIG COVID-19 Warriors Recognition initiative.

2021–2022: Continued Impact

Amplified education sponsorships and expanded community outreach initiatives.
